The Electric Motor Bearing Grease Sampler Kit includes 10 Grease Thief™ sample fittings to be used to obtain representative and repeatable samples from electric motor drains and other equipment outfitted with a 1/8 inch NPT threaded grease purge drain path. The drain plug is removed from the equipment, and the sample fitting is threaded in its place. After proper greasing, purged grease enters the fitting where it is captured for analysis. When sufficiently full, the fitting is unscrewed from the drain, capped, and placed in a clean, labeled tube for shipment to the laboratory.
